Louisiana Environmental Health Asssociation Scholarship

I routed the application package for the LEHA scholarship to Frank, then Weijin. There is one undergrad and one grad scholarship, each $1000. Deadline is December 1st.

Lake Charles ozone meeting

Today, Tuesday, October 21st, the LA DEQ will host a Statewide Ozone Screening Committee Public Meeting from 6:30-8:30 PM, Lake Charles City Hall Council Chambers, 326 Pujo Street.

Cleve Hoffpauir back for M.S.

Last week Cleve Hoffpauir came by to talk about entering our graduate program. He's still working for Lacassane Company, managing their wetland mitigation banks, among other duties. It's possible that he will choose the agriculture concentration, with a thesis on wetlands. He has recovered well from his accident several years ago.
