Coral Reef Ecology (juniors, seniors and grad students)
Marine Field Ecology (juniors, seniors and grad students)
Coastal Field Geology (juniors seniors and grad students)
Our application deadline is April 1st. I
have heard from a few universities that this is a much earlier date
than summer registration on campus. Students can apply with us for our
classes before registering for a course on campus. The deadline is
early for LUMCON courses due to the logistics involved with preparing
for each field class. If a course has at least 6 students signed-up by April 1st, we keep registration open for that class until it fills up. If we do not have at least 6 students for a class by April 1st, the class is cancelled for the summer. More information and applications can be found at http://www.lumcon.edu/ education/university/summer. I have attached a poster for the summer program.
We are also accepting applications for our 2014 NSF-funded REU program. The application deadline is March 15th.
For more information and application materials students can visit: http://www.lumcon.edu/reu. (The poster is attached as well).
