Master Gardener scholarship

Applications for the Uland Trent Guidry Memorial Scholarship given by the Southwest Louisiana Master Gardeners are due no later than June 30.

Requirements are:

 Louisiana resident of Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron or Jefferson Davis Parish

  Junior or senior classification

   

Pursuing a bachelor's degree at a Louisiana state-supported college or university with a major in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Plant Sciences, Landscape Architecture & Design, Conservation, or other allied areas of study.

    Applicant must have a 3.0 (B) overall grade-point average and a 3.0 (B) average in the major. The scholastic average must be maintained for renewal of the scholarship for the spring semester.
