We are currently seeking a Senior-Level Wetland Scientist with 8 or more years of experience for our Abingdon, Maryland office.  Primary responsibilities will include field investigations, analyses, preparation of wetland and forest stand delineations, and preparation of plans and reports for submission to regulatory agencies.  Candidates should have detailed knowledge of federal and state regulations, implementation and guidance.

Primary responsibilities will include management of personnel, field investigations, proposals, budgets, wetland and forest stand delineations, federal and state wetland permit applications, and stream and wetland mitigation design and implementation.  Candidates should have detailed knowledge of federal and state regulations, implementation and guidance.  Energy related project experience desired.

Desired Skills and Experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS                                                               
Successful candidates MUST have:
•             BS Degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources or related field.
•             8+ Years of professional related experience
•             Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
•             Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•             Familiarity of permitting processes in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania
•             FERC CPCN experience preferred, but not required
•             NEPA EA experience preferred, but not required
•             GPS and AutoCAD experience preferred but not required
•             Willingness to travel periodically
