Seafood technology specialist, extension agent


The primary responsibility of this position is to continue and further develop a nationally recognized extension and applied research program in the area of seafood technology. The primary area served by this position is all of Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parishes, and the South Shore region of Lake Pontchartrain located in Orleans Parish. This region supports a large fishing community and has some of the highest land loss rates in Louisiana.
