Entry-Level Environmental Scientist/ Geologist
Requirements:
• B.S. in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• Familiarity with tests on soil/water
• Knowledge of field instrumentation
• Excellent verbal/written skills
• Ability to interpret data and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in MS office programs
• Knowledge of groundwater modeling and GIS programs a definite plus
• Ability to travel 4-5 days/week as needed to various sites around Louisiana. Will be appropriately compensated.
This position entails: site investigation, risk assessment, and remediation projects. Also includes due diligence, storm water sampling, and biological studies.
Responsibilities include : work with Project Managers to plan projects, plan and complete field work including supervising contractors, compile/interpret data and prepare reports.
