provider of oil and gas E&P waste treatment and disposal services is looking for an Environmental Scientist in the Gulf Coast Region.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental or Civil Engineering, Soil Sciences, Geology, or related technical field and 1 to 3 years experience in oilfield operations/ energy services or similar position preferred.
This individual will coordinate all aspects of environmental programs, permits, and overall compliance with Federal, State, Local and Corporate requirements relating to recordkeeping, reports, training, and other related concerns for assigned area. Knowledge of environmental analytical methods, federal & state environmental regulations (EPA, state), processes and requirements with experience in reading, interpreting & implementing regulations. Ability to read, analyze, interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software with ability to download, manipulate and report data. Position based out of Jennings, LA with at least 50% travel required. R360 is looking for a self-motivated professional with ability to work in a high volume multi task environment.
